ontwerptraject voor dak- en thuisloze jongeren

Reduce the number of homeless youth in the Netherlands to zero. That is the aim of the Action Program for Homeless Young People of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. Creative industries fund NL invites design teams to participate in a design process aimed at developing new housing concepts for these young people. Five design teams that can consist of, for example, (interior) architects, urban planners and (social) designers, will work intensively with young people, municipalities and their local partners on integrated solutions. This is done through design research that explores new strategies and possibilities. Design teams and pilot municipalities are guided in the collaboration by social designer Tabo Goudswaard, who has been appointed as project leader for the duration of the project to ensure mutual connections between the projects and connection to the Homeless Youth Action Program.

Het aantal dak- en thuisloze jongeren in Nederland terugbrengen naar nul. Dat is het doel van het Actieprogramma Dak- en Thuisloze Jongeren van het ministerie van VWS. Het Stimuleringsfonds nodigt ontwerpteams uit om deel te nemen aan een ontwerptraject gericht op de ontwikkeling van nieuwe woonconcepten voor deze jongeren. Vijf ontwerpteams die kunnen bestaan uit bijv. (interieur)architecten, stedenbouwkundigen en (social) designers zullen in het traject intensief samenwerken met jongeren, gemeenten en hun lokale partners aan integrale oplossingen. Dit gebeurt via een ontwerpend onderzoek waarin nieuwe wegen en mogelijkheden worden verkend. Ontwerpteams en pilotgemeenten worden in de samenwerking begeleid door social designer Tabo Goudswaard, die voor de duur van het traject is aangesteld als projectleider om onderlinge verbindingen tussen de projecten en aansluiting op het Actieprogramma Dak- en Thuisloze Jongeren te waarborgen.
