World Design Embassies

World Design Embassies (WDE) is a mission- and design-driven programme in which parties work together on complex, societal issues in an equal way. In open coalitions of partners, we connect design power to national transitions. Based on missions around themes such as health, safety, mobility, sustainability and inclusiveness, WDE works on the transition to a sustainable, liveable and social society for us and the generations after us. Floris Alkemade, Jetske van Oosten and Tabo Goudswaard are the ambassadors of the WDE programme. Together with the Dutch Design Foundation, they developed the future vision for the programme.

World Design Embassies (WDE) is een missie- en ontwerpgedreven programma waarbij partijen op gelijkwaardige manier samenwerken aan complexe, maatschappelijke vraagstukken. In open coalities van partners verbinden we ontwerpkracht aan nationale transities. Vanuit missies rondom thema’s als gezondheid, veiligheid, mobiliteit, duurzaamheid en inclusiviteit, werkt WDE aan de transitie naar een duurzame, leefbare en sociale samenleving voor ons en de generaties na ons. Floris Alkemade, Jetske van Oosten en Tabo Goudswaard zijn de ambassadeurs van het WDE-programma. Samen met de Dutch Design Foundation ontwikkelden zij de toekomstvisie voor het programma.
